Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director, R&D Finance, Portfolio Analysis to lead governance, study costing, forecasting and reporting for development programs from Princeton, NJ. You will partner with global program teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and transparent metrics.

The role covers month-end close, variance analyses, and financial controls, while guiding wind-down planning and program projections with key stakeholders across the TA scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a B.S./B.A. is required, M.S./M.B.A. preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of finance experience with significant exposure to financial reporting, internal controls, and technical accounting.
• Ability to prepare and defend financial analyses to support decision making, investigate and conclude on complex accounting issues.
• Ability to present complex financial data in a clear, understandable, and visually compelling manner.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records, applying accounting principles, standards, and regulations to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial reporting.
• Active engagement with business partners, leveraging each other’s strengths/expertise, developing strategic initiatives and fostering open dialogue to navigate complex challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Program Support, Governance Support and Budget / Projection Activities.
• Month-End, Quarter-End Close, Variance Analyses and Reporting.
• Collaborate effectively to optimize spend on programs in the wind-down state and ensure financial & operational objectives are met.
