Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co. is seeking an Associate Director of Biostatistics in Princeton, NJ. The role supports trial design, protocol development, analysis plans and regulatory submissions within cross-functional development teams.

Candidates will lead statistical activities, defend analysis plans, and collaborate with Biostatistics leads and other functions to drive program success, with emphasis on methodological rigor and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years’ experience) or MS (8+ years’ experience) in statistics/biostatistics with clinical trials experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python and implementation of advanced statistical analysis.
• Great interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Expertise in statistical/clinical trials methodology as it relates to clinical development.
• Good understanding of regulatory landscape and experience with regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in design of innovative and efficient clinical trials, including population and endpoint selection.
• Defends protocols and analysis plans at governance reviews and reviews complex protocols.
• Authors/reviews protocol, SAP, clinical study reports and other study documents.
• Presents data and analyses clearly to stakeholders.
• Provides statistical support to regulatory interactions and publications.
