Job summary

Spacelabs Healthcare in Snoqualmie, WA is seeking a Financial Analyst III to provide financial leadership for our R&D organization. You will own budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and capital investments, partnering with engineering and accounting teams to drive value and accountability.

The role emphasizes delivering actionable insights, building executive-level summaries, and advancing reporting tools and GAAP-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in business, accounting, or finance.
• 5+ years in finance-related roles (FP&A, forecasting, etc.).
• Strong data-driven analysis and prudent recommendations.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems (MfgPro, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel.
• Power BI or Tableau experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-range planning processes for the R&D organization.
• Develop detailed expense forecasts for labor, contractors, software, prototypes, and other R&D investments.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions throughout the year.
• Prepare monthly financial reviews highlighting key variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Deliver actionable insights rather than simply reporting results.
• Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and resource allocation.
• Develop executive-level presentations and summaries for senior leadership reviews.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved funding levels.
• Enhance financial reporting, dashboards, and forecasting tools.
• Develop automated reporting and analytics solutions to improve decision-making.
• Support process improvement initiatives within FP&A and R&D.
• Drive stronger financial accountability and operational discipline across the organization.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from senior management.
• Participate in the monthly close process and ensure reported costs are GAAP-compliant and timely.
