Job summary

Exelixis is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for Corporate Development, BD and M&A to drive financial analyses supporting executive decisions. You will build valuation models, conduct DCF analyses, and prepare deal summaries for senior leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, lifecycle management support for pipeline assets, and the development of robust financial analysis tools to optimize capital allocation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline with 5 years of related experience; or MBA with 3 years.
• Experience in investment banking/management consulting preferred.
• Biotech/pharma industry experience preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare company/asset valuation analyses on licensing and M&A transactions.
• Build merger consequences models to evaluate acquisitions.
• Perform discounted cash flow analyses to support lifecycle management of pipeline assets.
• Develop and standardize financial analysis models with scenario modelling.
• Prepare deal summaries and recommendations for senior management and the Board.
