Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3+ years in semiconductor equipment support in R&D, lab, or manufacturing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of wafer fab operations, gas and vacuum systems, and equipment control concepts.
• Familiarity with cleanroom or laboratory environments and safe handling of chemicals, gases, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on R&D equipment during product development.
• Assist with first builds, bring‑up, and testing of new products with R&D and facilities teams.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and root cause analysis to restore uptime.
• Monitor daily operation of R&D lab equipment for reliable tool performance.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Electrical, Process, and Software engineers during development.
• Follow BKM and document service, preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards in all equipment activities.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and support resolutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and usability.
