Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Etters, PA team. The role reports to the Engineering Director of Power Solutions Group and leads technology roadmap, product development, and cost/manufacturability objectives.

You will guide a multidisciplinary engineering team, partner with customers, sales, and manufacturing, and mentor staff to deliver reliable, innovative connectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 5–10 years of connector design and development experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams responsible for product development and execution.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management including goals, resources, budgets, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: drive innovation and lead development of customer-winning products and roadmaps.
• Technical Expertise: stay updated on industry trends and guide teams in adopting new technologies.
• Customer Focus: maintain close partnerships with customers and product/sales teams.
• Project management: oversee end-to-end product development lifecycle and ensure timely, cost-effective deliverables.
• Team Leadership: develop and coach a high-performing engineering team and promote collaborative culture.
• Cross-Collaboration: communicate updates to stakeholders and coordinate with manufacturing and NPI teams.
