Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is recruiting for an R&D Engineering Co-Op in the Velys Power Tools group. This internship offers hands-on design, testing, and evaluation of electro-mechanical power tools and surgical instruments.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop innovative features for orthopedic applications, and gain exposure to cross-functional teams across hardware and software for a patient-centered product line.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Biomedical or similar).
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must remain enrolled throughout the internship and be available for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced engineers to research, design, test, and evaluate electro-mechanical power tools and related components.
• Explore and develop breakthrough features and user experiences for surgical technology in Orthopaedics.
