Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum five years of related experience in industry or similar environment.
• Experience developing test procedures for products and processes.
• Experience developing product requirements and documentation.
• Experience in coatings synthesis, characterization, and application testing.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes data such as specifications and standards to determine feasibility of application.
• Develops and carries out test plans and supervises trials internally or at outside labs.
• Designs or develops new products, systems, and test procedures.
• Evaluates equipment and processes for compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepares requirements and procedural documentation as required.
• Devises new processes or refines existing ones to optimize manufacturing.
• Works with engineering and shop personnel on prototypes and testing methods.
• Reports hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
• Observes CB safety policies and ensures quality and safety.
• Maintains clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
• Demonstrates self-starting and detail-oriented work habits.
