Qualifications

• Translate business strategy into clear technology roadmaps and priorities.
• Strong technical depth in materials and joining (adhesives, thermoplastics, surface prep/analysis, and mechanical fasteners).
• Drive innovation grounded in customer needs, market trends, and benchmarking.
• Lead programs with disciplined experimentation, prototyping, validation/qualification, and documentation.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver smooth launches.
• Create and protect IP; drive invention disclosures and maintain design history.
• Ability to write and read English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the R&D strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate objectives and long-term aerospace leadership vision.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging materials, processes, and fastening technologies to improve performance, weight, sustainability, and cost.
• Lead and facilitate the Innovation Forum, establishing a structured cross-functional pipeline from concept to commercialization.
• Benchmark industry trends and customer needs to keep R&D forward-looking and market-relevant.
