Job summary

AEVEX Corp. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support R&D projects, assist in hardware prototype development, and assemble PCBs and mechanical components. Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience as an engineering technician or in a technical role.
• Experience troubleshooting PCBs and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards.
• Solder PCBs with Surface-M Mount Components (SMCs).
• Test circuit boards using oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and other test equipment.
• Perform SMT soldering on circuit boards and wire harnesses.
• Modify circuit boards using wire jumpers and PCB trace modifications.
• Support 5S and Lean processes to maintain a clean work environment.
• Document test procedures and data for repeatability and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of testing and projects.
• Review and interpret PCB layouts for accurate implementation.
