Job summary

Banner Engineering, a MN-based leader in industrial automation, seeks an Electrical Technician to support engineers from concept through production. You will interpret schematics, assemble prototypes, and perform verification and CE/UL tests while documenting results and assisting engineers in solving performance issues.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent, familiarity with soldering, and hands-on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
• Recent grad to 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with soldering.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Familiar with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Basic PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings and design/assembly documents.
• Assemble prototypes and perform product verification and CE/UL testing.
• Conduct performance tests and resolve issues.
• Verify functionality and quality against specifications.
• Document test results and deviations accurately.
• Troubleshoot sensor failures and collaborate with engineers.
• Generate reports based on findings.
