The role involves generating PCBs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings for test systems, identifying tolerances for sensor testing, and collaborating with design teams to deliver robust automotive sensor solutions.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred; proven hands-on electronics design experience favored.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and best practices.
• Ability to generate PCB layouts and schematics with standard tools.
• Familiarity with PLC, Python, and C++ for microcontrollers is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with design teams and stakeholders to determine electronics applications and requirements.
• Produce high quality, accurate work, meeting design parameters.
• Create accurate schematics and PCBs using standard tools.
• Design well-ordered electrical subsystems to component level.
• Evaluate and modify circuitry/systems for sensor components used in production.
• Design/assist with PLC and microcontroller designs for test automation.
• Research and develop electronic test evaluation criteria for components.
• Develop/conduct design reviews with design team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design team to address concerns and gather best ideas.
• Produce well-presented spreadsheets to analyze and share data.
• Generate detailed procedures, specifications, diagrams, and documentation.
• Utilize expertise on sensor design and test issues.
• Use user feedback to upgrade or repair existing machines.
• Stay current on technology, trends, and engineering practices.
• Ensure products are user friendly and safe, complying with safety standards.
• Continuously improve efficiency and accuracy.
