Job summary

BAC is seeking a mechanical/engineering co-op in Jessup, MD, to assist its R&D Design & Testing team with developing and validating new products. You will design and modify test setups, assemble prototypes, and collect data to guide engineering decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, CAD modeling, data acquisition, and collaboration across programs. Overtime applies where required, with hourly compensation in the mid-20s.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Materials preferred).
• Seniors or MS students preferred.
• Comfortable in hands-on lab/testing environment and using shop/power tools.
• 2D and 3D CAD experience; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Working knowledge of data acquisition equipment setup and operation.
• Proficient in Excel; advanced Excel VBA, Matlab or similar language preferred.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
