Job summary

BAC is seeking a hands-on engineering intern to support the R&D Design & Testing team in Maryland. You will help develop and validate new products and technologies, while designing and modifying test setups and documenting results.

You will work with CAD models and drawings, perform data collection and analysis, and assist across multiple engineering programs. This internship emphasizes practical lab work and tool use.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Materials preferred).
• Seniors or MS students preferred.
• Comfortable working in hands‑on laboratory/testing environment and using shop and power tools.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD; Autodesk Inventor preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of data acquisition equipment setup and operation.
• Proficient in Excel; advanced knowledge of Excel VBA, Matlab, or similar programming language preferred.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
