Job summary

Amgen seeks a Grad Intern – R&D TSRS Data Sciences Operations & Analytic for Summer 2027 to help digitize vivarium operations, standardize data, design workflows, and contribute to analytics.

You will develop a web application or tool for structured data capture and build visualization systems to improve lab efficiency while collaborating with data science teams. Eligibility requires full-time student status in the US.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a full-time schedule.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university for an internship in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of the first year of MBA/Master’s/PharmD/Ph.D. program before the internship starts.

Responsibilities

• Digitize vivarium operations with data standardization and workflow design.
• Develop a web application or tool to support structured data capture.
• Create visualization and analytics system around vivarium data to improve efficiency.
• Assist Data Sciences in FAIR data normalization and harmonization.
• Collaborate with end users and non-technical experts on new digital workflows.
