Job summary

Milliken & Company, a global materials science leader, seeks R&D co-ops in Appleton, WI for 2027. Students in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology/Microbiology will work on exciting encapsulation projects under mentors, with housing support if applicable and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS with >= 3.0 GPA in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology/Microbiology.
• Rising Juniors/Seniors preferred.
• Strong engineering and scientific principles knowledge; able to apply to project work.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, conduct and analyze lab experiments.
• Collaborate with engineers/scientists on lab, pilot or production trials.
• Produce written summaries and presentations of results.
• Evaluate trial products and impact on development.
