Job summary

MAPEI is seeking an R&D Chemist Intern to support R&D and Quality teams, gaining hands-on lab experience. The program includes rotations across R&D labs and factory locations, with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.

The position offers 40 hours per week, May–August 2027 (12 weeks), with host locations including Deerfield Beach, FL and other U.S. sites. Compensation up to $23/hour plus housing stipends in some cases.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory testing work.
• Prepare and maintain lab notes.
• Assist in generating reports and presentations for the technical team.
• Work as part of the R&D team to execute department goals.
