Job summary

Actalent in Columbus, OH is seeking an R&D Chemist I to conduct chemical and physical analyses in support of developing a manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical product. You will assist with analytical method validation and transfer activities and support regulatory submissions.

The role involves wet chemistry, titration, HPLC, gas chromatography, and data documentation in a GMP environment. You will collaborate with Scientists and Analysts, work the 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, and contribute

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field required.
• Lab experience outside academia preferred.
• Experience with data acquisition software desirable.
• Ability to work under supervision with scientific judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and analytical tasks to support development and regulatory submissions.
• Document analyses and results with data integrity.
• Adhere to cGXP and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot methods.
