Job summary

Actalent in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a QC Scientist I to perform routine testing of finished pharmaceutical products and stability samples. You will conduct HPLC and wet chemistry analyses, prepare standards, reagents, diluents, and mobile phases, and document results in laboratory systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related physical science.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Hands-on HPLC experience.
• Experience conducting analytical testing in a regulated environment.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of finished pharmaceutical products and stability samples.
• Perform HPLC and wet chemistry analysis following validated methods and SOPs.
• Prepare standards, reagents, diluents, and mobile phases.
• Document testing activities and results accurately in laboratory systems.
• Perform instrument calibration, verification, and routine maintenance.
• Identify and communicate out-of-specification or unexpected results.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, safety, and documentation requirements.
• Support manufacturing and quality operations through timely laboratory testing.
