Actalent in Columbus, OH is hiring an Entry-Level Chemistry Lab Technician to perform bench testing for Research & Development in the pharmaceutical industry. This long-term career opportunity offers a path to higher pay within the first year.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or have chemistry-focused lab experience. Work is Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with full onsite duties.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Candidates with other scientific degrees are encouraged to apply if they have chemistry-focused laboratory research or industry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare samples, standards, and dilutions for analytical testing of pharmaceutical materials.
• Perform wet chemistry testing including titrations, pH measurements, and viscosity analysis.
• Operate analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, NGI, and Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Execute testing activities that support product development, lot release, method validation, and regulatory programs.
• Accurately document laboratory work, observations, and results in compliance with cGxP requirements.
• Analyze data using laboratory software systems and prepare test results for reporting.
• Assist with troubleshooting analytical methods and resolving technical challenges.
• Support method validation and method transfer activities under guidance from sr scientists.
• Collaborate with Scientists and cross-functional teams to meet project goals and testing timelines.
• Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced laboratory environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field

Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field
