Job summary

Actalent seeks a Lab Scientist for a pharmaceutical laboratory setting in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports routine testing, instrument maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, R&D, and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing solutions and samples, performing analytical testing (HPLC/GC/MS/TOC/dissolution), documenting data with GMP-compliant records, and maintaining equipment and safety practices. First and second shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory setting.
• Ability to prepare solutions and samples accurately.
• Experience with analytical techniques (HPLC/GC/MS) is desirable.
• Proficiency with basic lab equipment and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solutions, samples and reagents per procedures.
• Perform or support analytical testing using HPLC, GC, MS, TOC, and dissolution.
• Review and document data, calculations and instrument outputs.
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure compliance with GDPr and safety.
• Support instrument maintenance and basic equipment calibration.
• Collaborate with Quality, R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
