Job summary

The Space and Geophysics Laboratory (SGL) at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a R&D C++ Software Developer to design, implement, and maintain software in Linux and Windows environments. Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of C++ development in Linux.
• Experience with Python and the Numpy/Scipy stack.
• Strong understanding of OO programming concepts.
• Ability to debug across full development lifecycle.
• Experience in OO design and multi-threaded programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed software design in a team environment.
• Implement from detailed design and contribute code.
• Perform unit, regression, and integration tests as appropriate.
• Create and maintain application documentation.
• Other related functions as assigned.
