Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Applied Research Laboratories seeks a GNSS Signals and Software Research Associate to advance GNSS research and develop robust software solutions within the Space and Geophysics Laboratory. Qualifications

• PhD in engineering, physics, computer science, or related field.
• Experience developing software in C++ or Python for scientific applications.
• 1+ year post-graduate experience developing GNSS signal processing or related algorithms.
• Demonstrated record of authoring peer-reviewed scientific publications.
• Demonstrated record of presenting scientific content to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level independent GNSS signals and software research relevant to SGL.
• Present and publish internal and external research results, including at project reviews and conferences.
• Contribute to GNSS applications, signal processing, and estimation theory.
• Implement software algorithms in C++ and Python within a team setting and document interfaces.
