Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. in Westlake, Ohio seeks a non-supervisory technician to assist technical staff in planning and executing experiments and tasks that influence battery product development.

The role requires handling data, operating test equipment, and training others, with travel up to 5% and a Monday–Friday day shift. A High School/GED and basic math/science understanding are needed.

Qualifications

• One year of pertinent experience/education in a technical laboratory or similar environment.
• Good fundamental understanding of higher-level mathematics, mechanics, general science, and computer applications.
• Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology is preferred with understanding of electrical principles.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes routine and non-routine experiments and tasks.
• Collects, records, and transcribes data; creates tables, charts, and graphs.
• Operates battery test cabinets, ovens, and mechanical testing equipment; follows safety procedures.
• Trains others and creates training documentation.
• Coordinates work with coworkers and interfaces with other groups to obtain information and services.
