Job summary

SSi People in Cambridge, MA seeks a detail-oriented Research and Development Associate to support tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and portfolio programs. You will assist bioanalytical testing, cell-based assays, and maintain rigorous lab documentation.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment to drive high-quality experimental outcomes, with hands-on molecular biology work including qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, and Western blot, and document findings in an electronic lab notebook.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in biotech/pharma or post-bachelor research.
• Hands-on molecular biology techniques including qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, and Western blot.
• Ability to independently execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings.
• Strong organizational skills and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and portfolio programs.
• Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction.
• Perform MSD and PCR-based bioanalytical analyses.
• Conduct cell-based functional assays and maintain an electronic laboratory notebook.
