Hydrogen UK Ltd in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Research Associate to support a tissue-enhanced delivery platform and portfolio programs. You will perform tissue processing, bioanalytical testing, and cell-based functional assays, applying PCR, MSD, and ELISA while assisting protocol development and data analysis.

The 12-month contract expects a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field and 1+ years in biotech/pharma, with hands-on molecular biology skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline is required.
1+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or post-bachelor’s research.
Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, or similar methods.

Responsibilities

Support tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and associated portfolio programs.
Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction.
Perform MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses.
Perform cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics.
Establish SOPs and adapt new protocols from scientific literature.
Maintain accurate and complete records in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
