Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Research Associate I to support development of innovative biotherapeutic delivery platforms. The role focuses on bioanalytical characterization, molecular biology, and translational research, with hands-on lab work and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in biology and at least 1 year of post-bachelor experience, with experience in qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western blot, cell culture, and ELNs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related life sciences field.
• Minimum of 1 year of post-bachelor’s research experience in biotech/pharma or academic labs.
• Hands-on molecular biology techniques (qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western blot) experience.
• Experience with tissue processing and mammalian cell culture.

Responsibilities

• Support research activities related to tissue-enhanced delivery technologies.
• Process animal tissues for protein characterization and nucleic acid extraction.
• Perform bioanalytical assays including PCR-based methods and MSD.
• Conduct cell-based functional assays to evaluate biologic candidates.
• Generate and interpret experimental data to support objectives.
• Document SOPs and lab procedures; maintain ELN records.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Follow safety practices and ensure compliance with standards.
