Job summary

Employment Solutions in Milford, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Quoting Specialist for a manufacturing partner. You will review RFQs, engineering drawings, and customer documentation, and prepare initial quote packages.

You will enter quote data into ERP and Excel, coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales, and track quote status to ensure timely submissions. This temp-to-hire role offers a pay of $25+ per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Administrative, customer service, manufacturing, or quoting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming RFQs, engineering drawings, specifications, and customer documentation.
• Organize quote requests and prepare initial quote packages.
• Enter quote information into ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales to gather information.
• Track quote status and maintain accurate quote records.
• Assist with quote revisions, updates, and follow-up.
• Ensure quote documentation is accurate and complete before submission.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams regarding quote requirements and deadlines.
• Provide administrative and quoting support to the Quote Team Manager.
