Qualifications

• Ability to research parts, pricing, and availability using online resources.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable with consistent attendance.
• Previous experience in manufacturing quoting, estimating, purchasing, electronics manufacturing, assembly operations, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine whether quote requests involve new products, rebuilds, or revisions.
• Identify changes in customer specifications or manufacturing requirements.
• Research component availability, lead times, and pricing.
• Obtain and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Verify manufacturer part numbers, quantities, specifications, and tolerances.
• Estimate assembly time in coordination with manufacturing and scheduling teams.
• Compile completed quote information for review by the sales team.
• Maintain accurate quote files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with purchasing-related research and supplier information as needed.
