Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an administrative professional to partner with outside sales to craft cost-effective repair proposals and maintain vendor relationships. You will manage quotes, track work requests in Excel, and support account managers and the Sales Support team.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, 2–4 years of related experience (HVAC estimating, parts sales), and proficiency with MS Office. This role is office-based in Texas.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2-4 years’ related experience in HVAC estimating, parts/counter sales or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word and PDF.
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with outside sales to meet customer’s timely needs for quotes and submissions to operations.
• Understand customer needs to create competitive, accurate estimates and proposals aligning with service scope.
• Maintain current technician work requests in Excel and manage quoted work database with file integrity.
• Load information to SharePoint and assist with account setup and dispatch communications.
• Provide administrative support to the Account Manager and Sales Support team.
