Job summary

Southland Industries in Lehigh Valley, PA, is seeking an estimator-support role that partners with outside sales to create cost-effective repair proposals and coordinate with vendors. You will manage customer bids, ensure quotes reflect the scope, and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and SharePoint, while providing essential administrative support to the Sales team.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years related experience, and strong Excel/Office skills to deliver timely,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years of related experience in HVAC estimating, or parts sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word and PDF.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong prioritization and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Partner with outside sales to prepare timely quotes and submissions.
• Understand customer needs to create accurate estimates and proposals.
• Ensure proposals cover the customer’s scope; seek internal technical input.
• Maintain current work requests in an Excel spreadsheet.
• Manage quotes database and load information to SharePoint for collaboration.
• Assist Account Managers with job setup after customer approval.
• Provide administrative support to Account Manager and Sales Support team.
