Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist in Baton Rouge to manage the quotations process from receipt to submission. You will interact with Graybar sales, customer service, customers, and manufacturers to gather data for profitable quotes and learn product lines and pricing mechanics.

You will prepare cost estimates, obtain cost information from factories, collaborate with sales and customer service, build relationships with customers and suppliers, and compare bills of materials for complete

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• 4+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 4 year degree in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons
