Job summary

EPEC Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quotation Specialist to support our growing customer base in Clayton, NC.

This on-site role focuses on accurate, timely quotations and coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proposals meet customer needs and align with our capabilities. You will build product configurations, price using Excel, and enter data into NetSuite, while maintaining documentation and supporting continued business growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quotations, estimating, sales support, or related technical/administrative experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage quote requests in an organized and timely manner.
• Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and pricing.
• Gather pricing, availability, and product details from vendors.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets reflecting current pricing and material specs.
• Enter quote data and product configurations into NetSuite.
• Create new prospect records in NetSuite; use NetSuite reports for proposals.
• Produce professional proposals and save documentation to designated folders.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Quotation Specialist to join our team and support our growing customer base. In this role you will prepare accurate, timely quotations and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams. This role ensures proposals meet customer needs and align with our capabilities, supporting our continued business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and manage quote requests in an organized and timely manner.
• Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Communicate with vendors to gather pricing, availability, and product details as needed.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets to reflect current pricing and material specifications.
• Organize and archive quote and proposal documentation.
• Perform additional office or operational support tasks as assigned.
• Review incoming requests via phone, email, or sales representatives.
• Use customer documentation and drawings to determine required materials and configurations.
• Build product configurations and determine pricing using Excel worksheets.
• Enter quote data and product configurations into NetSuite.
• Create new prospect records in NetSuite for new customers.
• Use NetSuite’s custom Proposal report to produce professional proposals.
• Save all proposal documentation to designated server folders.
• Issue revisions by updating quote data, reconfiguring products as needed, and generating new proposals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in quotations, estimating, sales support, or a related technical/administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE)

• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with NetSuite).
• Associate degree preferred in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). KEY
