ArcBest in Honolulu, USA is hiring a Quotation Analyst to develop competitive pricing for spot quote markets and support sales targets. You will review transportation options, communicate rates to customers, and collaborate with teams to close opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, customer service or logistics exposure, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Working hours align with a 6:00am–7:00pm window with shifts, and occasional irregular hours may apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales, and/or transportation preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite; MS Outlook skilled.

Mansioni

• Provide market-competitive pricing decisions for ArcBest’s spot quote markets while keeping profitability and market share.
• Offer posted rate costs to customers.
• Make pricing decisions on multiple-quote scenarios.
• Examine and evaluate the most cost-effective mode(s) of transportation for shipments.
• Use negotiating skills to secure business.
• Answer customer and field questions concerning shipments and provide records on various logistical solutions.
• Resolve other client-service related issues beyond the department’s scope with training or cross-region coordination.
• Compare and adjust prices and freight bills as needed.
• Maintain a positive mindset in a high-pressure environment.
• Be detail oriented and able to multitask in a customer-service minded setting.
• Show sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Work in a team to meet department goals and client needs.
• Other obligations and projects as assigned.
