Job Description

1. Assist with shipping and receiving, check in merchandise, and match purchase orders to sales orders.
2. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
3. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
4. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed using suitable computer programs.
5. Assist in physical inventory counting.
6. Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure compliance with company standards.
7. Prepare customer orders for packing, including address labels, shippers, pick lists, and distribute to material handlers.

Additional responsibilities include assisting in data entry and working with programs such as Manufacturing, Excel, and Work.
