Job description

Great opportunity exists for a Central Registration Clerk to join our team at our outpatient clinic in Quincy!

Under the direction of the Director of Clinic Administrative Services and in collaboration with the Lead Central Registration Clerk, the responsibilities include:

  1. Insurance verification
  2. Coordinating insurance authorizations
  3. Assisting clients with insurance eligibility
  4. Communicating insurance matters effectively to clients and staff
  5. Answering phones
  6. Greeting clients and visitors
  7. Checking in clients
  8. Centralized scheduling of appointments for all medication providers, clinicians, and psychologists
  9. Managing medication provider schedule
  10. Data entry
  11. Collecting insurance co-payments
  12. Collection of past due account balances
  13. Updating client information
  14. Providing administrative support to the program
