The role requires strong problem-solving, knowledge of automotive systems, and the ability to learn new repair procedures quickly in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify problems quickly and accurately.
• Solid knowledge of automobiles and vehicle systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Ability to operate basic electronic testing equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter changes.
• Perform quality multi-point inspections on vehicles.
• Isolate components that might cause future problems on vehicles.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy while performing maintenance on vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
