Job summary

Johnston Ford in New Boston, TX is seeking a Quick Lane Maintenance Technician to help keep customers\' vehicles safe and well maintained. No dealership experience required; we provide training and a clear path for advancement.

You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and recommend needed services, while working closely with service advisors to deliver an excellent customer experience. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow within Ford\'s maintenance family.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry.

• Dependable and punctual.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Complete tire rotations and tire repairs.
• Mount and balance tires.
• Perform Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections (MPI).
• Check and maintain fluid levels.
• Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and filters.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on inspection findings.
• Install cabin and engine air filters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to provide an excellent customer experience.
