Johnston Ford is seeking a Quick Lane Maintenance Technician to support routine maintenance and MPI inspections. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service, with on-the-job training and a clear path for advancement.

As part of the Ford family, you’ll perform oil changes, tire work, and inspections in a collaborative, customer-focused shop environment. No dealership experience required; commitment to learning and growth is valued.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Complete tire rotations and tire repairs.
• Mount and balance tires.
• Perform Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections (MPI).
• Check and maintain fluid levels.
• Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and filters.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on inspection findings.
• Install cabin and engine air filters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to provide an excellent customer experience.
