Job summary

Khaos Apparel LLC in Newton, Kansas, is seeking a sharp, independent QuickBooks operator to own our books in a quiet, local role you can truly trust.

You’ll clean up transactions, reconcile accounts, handle AP/AR, payroll, and Kansas sales tax, and produce monthly P&L and balance sheets for leadership.

This part-time position offers autonomy, flexible scheduling within 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, and a chance to contribute to a family-like, drama-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations, AP/AR and Kansas sales tax.

** The Roadmap: How This Role Works**

• ** Month 1 (The Clean-Up | 15–20 hrs/week):** Get under the hood of our QBO system. Clean up transaction categories, reconcile accounts, align our vendors, and get everything running like clockwork.
• ** Month 2 & Beyond (The Rhythm | ~10 hrs/week):** Keep the engine running smoothly. Reconcile monthly, process payroll, handle sales tax, pay bills, and hand off clean numbers to our accountant.

** What You’ll Be Doing**

• ** QuickBooks Online (QBO):** Manage daily transactions, credit card syncs, bank feeds, and account reconciliations.
• ** Payables & Receivables:** Keep vendor bills paid on time, track down receivables, and keep digital/physical receipts strictly organized.
• ** Payroll & Sales Tax:** Keep payroll records straight and file Kansas sales tax accurately and on schedule.
• ** Financial Oversight:** Generate monthly P&L and Balance Sheets so leadership always knows where we stand.

• You have proven, hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
