Job summary

Eataly in King of Prussia is seeking a QSR Specialist to support busy counter operations. You will supervise and assist across all QSR stations, ensuring hospitality excellence and accurate transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include station setup, FIFO, labeling, allergen handling, and staff mentoring. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; on-site role with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food service preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; guest service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring hospitality standards are met.
• Sets up stations and replenishes displays, including allergen separation.
• Ensures items are dated and FIFO standards are followed.
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting.
• Prepares collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products.
• Mentors and guides team members and supports inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with quality, health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Documents, investigates and resolves guest incidents; assists with admin duties.

Job Description

Eataly’s bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The QSR Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers.

• Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring the team consistently meets high standards of hospitality
• Sets ups stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
• Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products
• Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members
• Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
• Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
• Documents, investigates, resolve and escalates guest incidents
• Assists with administrative duties as needed
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food service
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register
