Job summary

The QSR Specialist at Eataly North America in Santa Clara, CA supports daily QSR counter operations, upholding hospitality, accuracy in transactions and FIFO standards. You set up stations, restock displays, and mentor teammates while ensuring quality and sanitation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food service, strong communication and math skills, and knowledge of coffee and Italian cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring the team consistently meets high standards of hospitality.
• Sets ups stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens.
• Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out standards.
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting.
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products.
• Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members.
• Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department.
• Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Documents, investigates, resolve and escalates guest incidents.
• Assists with administrative duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Education

Eataly's bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The QSR Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register

Compensation: Pay rate start at $18.70 - $19.50 an hour plus tips. We are looking for people can-do full-time hours (32 hours or more), or part-time hours (31 hours or less).
