Job summary

Eataly North America is hiring a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Specialist for our King Of Prussia marketplace. The role supports day-to-day QSR counter operations across all stations, upholding hospitality standards and ensuring accurate transactions.

This on-site position requires at least a high school diploma with 1+ year supervisory experience in food service, knowledge of coffee production, and familiarity with Italian cuisine.

Qualifications

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Experience in lead or supervisory role in food service.
• Knowledge of coffee production and Italian cuisine/beverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service across all QSR counters with high hospitality standards.
• Set up stations and replenish displays, including allergen separations.
• Ensure items are dated and FIFO compliant.
• Manage transactions and ensure accurate accounting.
• Prepare collateral, weigh, label, package, and serve products.
• Mentor and guide team members; assist with inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Document, investigate, resolve, and escalate guest incidents.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.

Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Specialist- Eataly King Of Prussia

Eataly’s bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The QSR Specialist assists with the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers.

• Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring the team consistently meets high standards of hospitality
• Sets ups stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
• Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products
• Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members
• Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
• Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
• Documents, investigates, resolve and escalates guest incidents
• Assists with administrative duties as needed
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food service
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register
