Quick Lane Technician - Fowler Kia Longmont

Fowler Automotive is looking for a hard-working, dedicated Quick Lane Technician for our growing Service Department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
• Performs Multi-Inspection check and recommends services needed to Service Advisor.
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
• Checks tire pressure and adds or removes air if needed.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.
• Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on experience and is highly competitive in the marketplace. Starting at $20/hour.
