Angela Krause Ford has immediate openings for Quick Lane Service Technicians. No heavy diagnostics, engine work, transmission work, or drivability repairs are required. We welcome Technicians from other brands and industries such as Firestone, Pepboys, Jiffy Lube, etc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform general express technician services as needed
2. Identify, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems
3. Perform maintenance and light repairs such as oil changes, tire rotations, wiper blades, air filters, and multipoint inspections
4. Collaborate with other Quick Lane Technicians on all light maintenance service tickets
5. Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs
6. Explain maintenance and repairs to service advisors and customers
7. Learn new technical information and techniques through training

Requirements include:

1. Some automotive experience preferred
2. Thorough understanding of inspection-based services and repairs
3. Excellent customer relations and communication skills
4. Understanding of the independent tire and automotive repair market
5. Focus on quality and customer satisfaction
6. Ability to work independently and perform maintenance and light repairs
7. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and current resident
8. Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test, and valid driver’s license
