Jim Burke Ford Lincoln is seeking a knowledgeable Quick Lane parts person in Bakersfield, CA. The role involves locating automotive parts, arranging installation, and maintaining inventory while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with automotive parts, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A forklift certification is preferred and training is provided.

Responsabilités

• Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation.
• Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions.
• Stocks parts and tires while also pulling stock from the department across the street.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Quick Lane parts person is knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and can locate automotive parts within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arrange for delivery and installation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience with automotive parts and accessories. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation
• Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions
• Stocks parts and tires while also pulling stock from the department across the street
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience preferred
• Working knowledge of the parts industry
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Able to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Able to be certified to drive a forklift
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Highly professional and dependable
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
