Job summary

Salem College seeks a passionate Quest Tutor to provide personalized support to students of varying ages and skill levels. You will conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish and other subjects needing support.

Assess students' strengths and weaknesses, tailor lessons, and develop engaging plans aligned with curriculum standards while assisting with homework, tests, and projects. A positive learning environment is emphasized to build confidence.

Qualifications

Experience tutoring or teaching in relevant subjects.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to student needs.
Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish, and other subjects.
