Job summary

Responsibilities include developing supplemental materials, assisting with tutoring pedagogy, and supporting course-related labs where applicable. Flexible hours and collaborative learning environments are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a STEM field.
• Experience working with students on academic skills.
• Knowledge of active learning and tutoring pedagogies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions across academic disciplines.
• Act as coach/mentor to help students become independent learners.
• Incorporate effective study strategies to enhance student progress.
• Assist students with institutional technology as needed.
• Contribute to tutor training and development.
• Create supplemental materials for staff use with students.
• Support development and delivery of one-credit courses related to labs (if applicable).
• Attend staff meetings and help sustain daily operations.
