Titan America seeks a Quarry Supervisor for the Roanoke Cement team in Virginia. The role reports to the Quarry Superintendent and provides technical and engineering support to the quarry, ensuring safe, efficient operations and coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities include managing daily quarry activities, developing mine plans, conducting surveys, and tracking production and maintenance. Certification requirements include Virginia DMME Foreman and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, with a

Competenze

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Virginia DMME Surface Foreman Certification or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or able to obtain upon hire.
• Competent in CAD packages such as AutoCAD or Mine planning software Maptek Vulcan.
• Familiar with MSHA regulations to ensure safe and compliant mining operations.
• Knowledge of cement manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of mining mobile equipment and maintenance tracking.
• Proficient analytical, problem solving and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to foster collaboration and achieve goals.

Mansioni

• Assist the quarry manager with daily operations in the quarry; act as quarry supervisor in the absence of the quarry manager and oversee crew activities and ensure everyone is working safely.
• Oversee and administer contractors in the quarry including drilling & blasting and stripping contractors; ensure safety, review work and invoices.
• Develop mine plans to deliver raw materials for the cement plant meeting quality standards and coordinate with the quarry manager.
• Perform mine surveying, including blast hole sampling and hole location survey along with aerial surveys using UAVs; pursue FAA Part 107 certification.
• Track and report daily production and heavy mobile equipment fleet utilization and reliability; coordinate major repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Support Quarry Manager in creating capital plans and writing capital spend requests; manage approved projects.
• Support Quarry Manager in monitoring costs, creating monthly reports, and contributing to annual budgets.
• Ensure quarry operations comply with environmental permits and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate and foster urgency and a strong commitment to achieve goals.
