The Quarry Supervisor at Mountain Cement Company leads mining operations in collaboration with the Quarry Manager for our new cement plant in the United States. You will guide safety, production, and regulatory compliance, leveraging automation to optimize performance and long-term results.

We seek a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in geology or mine engineering/planning and 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology or mine engineering/planning.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Knowledge of MSHA, Wyoming DEQ/LQD and WY Environmental Quality Act guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech; listen well.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance at all times.
• Meet and exceed quarry production needs while aligning with company goals.
• Provide leadership with clear, measurable goals for quarry personnel.
• Direct contractors and ensure safety and environmental rule compliance.
• Understand mine plans and apply them to daily quarry work.
• Manage mining steps: stripping, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, crushing.
